Pond with Peng Zhao, Diane Chen
Pond is an interactive 3D installation. We created a
virtual pond with beautiful flowers and fish inside and it
will be projected onto a tank of water. Users can play with the water
and thus interact and play with those wonderful creatures in the pond.
We use video tracking device to track the movement of your hand. The
fish will follow around your hand and the flowers will float and rotate
in the water according to your hand movement. It connects the real
world with a virtual world and users can interact with a surreal world
through real life interface.
